Its Getting Warm – Time for Icy Poles
We made icy poles for Oscar last year, but he didn’t really get them. They usually ended up as a soggy mess. We made these during the week when the hot spell hit and Oscar helped make them. He loved it and kept checking the freezer to see if they were ready. Once they were he ate 4 in 3 days! Icy poles are easy to make at home and there are all sorts of fun moulds available to buy. The easy pear icy poles are the simplest to make becuase we usually have pears in syrup opened in the fridge, and if we have to open a tin they’ll get used pretty quickly. All of these recipes are easy to make, and its fun for the kids to help make them.
