The idea for this recipe is from the Uncle Toby’s Cholesterol Challenge website, but it was made with just oats. This version combines a variety of cereals, and Oscar just loves them. They store well, so are great for taking to day care.

Hi Marnie,
I got those silicon trays about 12 months ago, but it only occurred to me to use them for muesli bars a few weeks ago when I wrote this post. I’m pretty sure that I got them in Big W.
Thank you for another great recipe. Where did you get those tins from? They look great.
Special K Original doesn’t have any corn, but there may be other varieties that do, I know some have honey and even lavender!
Those mini-muffins look good, I’ll have to try them.
Oh another good one! I’ll have to get some of those funky pans. I made something very similar: http://tortoisetales2.wordpress.com/some-failsafe-resources/some-recipes/mini-muesli-muffins/
These will be good for next year when I want to give her something a bit chewier (when she gets a few more teeth). I’ve been looking for a way of using those cool millet rings. I used millet puffs in my muffins and they were nice too.
Doesn’t Special K have corn in it?
