Well our move to shopping at the local IGA supermarket has been short lived. We went to the deli 2 weekends ago and they no longer stocked the Hans All Natural Ham. This time the excuse is that its too dry. Personally I think this has a lot to do with the habit supermarket delis have of slicing too much meat and having it in the trays for days.
We have bought some more ham from Ozzie’s Gourmet Butchery – in bulk and frozen. Its not as convenient, since its an extra shopping trip, and more expensive, but we hopefully more reliable. I’m also happy to be support a local business!
